Modern Mobile Service

Modern Mobile Service is tucked away at 13/2 in the Padarayanapura area, quite close to Lalbaug. The shop is small and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy with work to really get around to it. Usually, there’s a pile of old charging cables in the corner and a stack of invoices that we need to sort through. The neighborhood stays pretty active, so there’s always someone popping their head in to ask a quick question or see if their phone is ready. We deal with all sorts of mobile issues here, from buttons that don’t click anymore to batteries that have given up. It’s a bit of a messy environment, with tools scattered across the benches, but we know exactly where everything is. The heat during the summer months can be a bit much since the shop doesn’t get a lot of cross-breeze, but we just keep the fan running and carry on. We’ve seen the technology change so much since we first started out in this spot. People come from the surrounding streets because they know we are usually here until late evening. It’s not a corporate office with people in suits; it’s just a place where we work with our hands and try to solve the problems that walk through the door. It’s a steady pace and we just take it one day at a time, fixing whatever comes our way.
