Modern Furnitures is located down on Silver Jubilee Park Road, right in the thick of things. Specifically, we are at 6 Silver Jubilee Park Road, in SSlane, which is directly opposite the Sjp Park Road itself. This area is famous for furniture and hardware, so we fit right in with the neighbors. It’s a very busy street, always full of people looking for something for their homes. Our shop is packed with different pieces, and sometimes it feels a bit tight when we get a new shipment in. We don’t have a huge fancy showroom with mood lighting. It’s more of a practical space where you can see what we have and touch the wood. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit, but the hustle and bustle stays the same. Finding parking can be a real headache on Sjp Road, so most people just hop out while someone else circles the block. We spend our days helping folks pick out what they need and getting things loaded up. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around, but we are used to it by now. The shop is dusty from the wood and the street, but that’s just part of the furniture business. We just try to be helpful and keep the stock moving so we have room for more. It’s a lot of work but we’ve got a routine down now after all this time.
