Mobitalk

The shop is tucked away at BTM Layout 2nd Stage 15th Cross, and if you aren't looking closely, you might walk right past it. Mobitalk is just a small space filled with phone cases, chargers, and boxes of spare parts that we haven't sorted in weeks. It gets busy around the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. People come in with cracked screens or phones that won't charge, looking pretty stressed out. We spend most of our time hunched over a workbench under a bright lamp, poking at tiny screws. It’s quiet work except for the music we play on a small speaker to keep things lively. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can't check things properly, which is frustrating for everyone. The 15th cross area is mostly residential, so we see the same faces every day. There is a small park nearby where we go for a break when the shop is empty. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because their neighbor told them we could fix a battery. The shelves are a bit disorganized and there is always a stack of old newspapers in the corner. We keep Mahalakshmi Layout 7 in mind for some of our other errands, but mostly we are right here behind the counter. It's just a regular day-to-day business dealing with gadgets that break. It’s enough to keep us going.
