Mobile N Care is situated at Nagarbhavi Vimal Society 206. The shop is basically one long wooden workbench with a lot of bright lamps overhead. I spend nearly my whole day squinting at tiny circuit boards and trying not to lose those microscopic screws that hold modern phones together. It is quiet work for the most part, except for the tiny hiss of the soldering iron heating up. I have dozens of plastic bins filled with random spare parts like old batteries and tiny speakers. Most people who walk in are a bit stressed out because they dropped their phone and the screen is completely shattered. I just tell them how many hours it will take and then I get back to work. The shop is tucked away a bit from the main noise, so it is actually quite peaceful. I keep a small radio playing near the window just to have some background sound while I work. There is always a pile of broken devices in the back that we keep for spare parts. It is not a showroom with shiny new models for sale; it is more of a dusty workshop where things actually get fixed. My eyes get really tired by the time evening comes around. The counter is usually covered in tools and little bits of wire and tape. I try to keep it organized, but when we get busy, things just end up everywhere on the bench.
