Miracle Theatre Group

Miracle Theatre Group is based out of Plot No 82 874 in Koramangala. It is basically a bunch of us who really like plays and everything that goes into making them happen. We spend a lot of our evenings here rehearsing or just talking about what we want to put on stage next. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for what we need. We handle everything from moving the lights around to painting the backdrops ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work that people don't always see when the show is running. Sometimes the scripts are long and we spend hours trying to get the lines right. We don't have a big budget or anything like that. We just use what we have available. Koramangala is a busy area, so there's always something going on outside our door while we are trying to focus on a scene. We’ve had all sorts of people come through here over the years. Some stay for a long time and others just help out with one show and move on. It’s just how theater life is, I guess. We try to keep things simple and focus on the acting. It's not always perfect and things go wrong during live shows, but that's part of the fun. We just keep going and try to put on something decent for the neighborhood. It's our little corner of the world.
