Mighty Kidz

Being right on Kannamangala Main Road means things are pretty busy around here. Mighty Kidz is tucked in at 136/1, and you can hear the traffic from Kadugodi passing by most of the time. We spend our days looking after the little ones who come in early in the morning. There are colorful mats on the floor and buckets full of plastic blocks that never seem to stay put. The walls have some old drawings taped up that the kids made last month. It gets loud when everyone is singing or having their snacks at the same time. We have a small area where they can run around, though it isn't huge. Most of the parents work nearby and drop their children off before heading to their offices. We have some wooden chairs that have seen better days, but they still work fine for the kids. It’s a lot of cleaning up spills and making sure nobody loses their shoes. The light comes in through the front windows in the afternoon, making the place feel a bit warmer. We don’t have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. It is just us here every day, making sure the children are safe and have something to do while their parents are away. It is tiring work, but seeing them learn a new word or share a toy makes the long hours on Kannamangala Main Road worth it. We usually close up once the last parent arrives in the evening.
