Miex Design

Miex Design takes up three units, numbers 58, 59, and 60, over in Bagalagunte. It sounds like a lot of space, but between the drawing boards, the rolls of paper, and the material samples, it feels quite full. We do a lot of drafting and planning here, mostly for local building projects or interior layouts for homes. The lighting isn't the best, so we have these big lamps clamped onto every desk. Bagalagunte is a bit far out for some, but it’s where we found enough room to spread out our work properly. We aren't a big firm with secretaries; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it when someone knocks. There are piles of magazines and old blueprints in the corners that we really should clear out one day. Most of our days are spent arguing over measurements or trying to figure out how to fit a client’s ideas into a small budget. We drink a lot of tea to keep going during the long afternoons. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the shops every day. It’s a practical space where we focus on getting the drawings right. We don't have a website that’s updated or any fancy branding, just our name on the door and a lot of work to get through. It’s a busy, messy, and creative place to be.
