Microworld Computer Lab

You can find us on Margosa Road in Malleshwaram, at number 43 on 15th Cross. We are right opposite the G.K Vale photo studio and near the City Bank ATM. It’s a busy spot with a lot of people walking by to go to the market. Microworld Computer Lab is a place where we have rows of systems set up. The room smells a bit like warm electronics and old carpet. We have students coming in to finish projects and older folks trying to learn how to use the internet. The chairs are a bit mismatched and some of them squeak when you sit down. We try to keep the fans running because it gets stuffy with all the machines on. It isn’t a high-tech lounge; it’s just a place to get work done. We spend a lot of time helping people print documents or scan papers for their jobs. The photo studio across the road is always busy with weddings, so we see a lot of people dressed up through our window. We’ve been here for a good while and the regulars know our names. We don’t have a big mission statement. We just keep the computers running and make sure there is paper in the printer. It’s a simple business in a nice part of town. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all just have to wait it out together.
