Microchip Technology Designs

Our office is located at 263, 2nd Cross in Cambridge Layout, Bangalore. It is a fairly quiet street, which is nice because it lets us concentrate on our designs. We go by Microchip Technology Designs, and we have been in this spot for a while now. The building is just a regular one, nothing that stands out from the street. Inside, it's mostly open space with a lot of monitors and scattered papers. We don't have a corporate vibe here at all. Usually, the place is a bit of a mess with prototype boards and cables running across the desks. We don't bother much with making things look perfect for visitors because we don't get many anyway. Most of our work is done through emails or phone calls. When we do have someone come over, they usually just pull up a spare chair and sit with us. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Bangalore. We just enjoy the process of designing chips and seeing how things come together. There are plenty of trees outside that give some shade, and we often take a walk down the cross roads when we need to clear our heads. It’s a simple setup. No fancy coffee machines, just a kettle in the corner for tea. We focus on the work itself rather than the image of the company. It’s been a good place for us to grow over the years. We just keep our heads down and work.
