We are located in the Peenya Industrial Area at 338, right on the 9th Cross in the 4th Phase. If you know anything about Peenya, you know it is all about manufacturing and putting in a hard day's work. Micro Tech Cnc is right in the thick of all that action. Our shop floor is completely dominated by the CNC machines, which take up almost all of the available space. The air is always humming with the high-pitched sound of metal being cut and shaped. We have to wear earplugs most of the day because the noise is constant and quite loud. There is always a distinct smell of cutting coolant and fresh metal shavings in the shop. We spend our hours programming the machines and carefully checking finished parts with calipers to make sure everything is within the right limits. It is precision work, but the actual environment is very industrial and gritty. Our small office is just a tiny partitioned space with a glass window that looks out onto the machines. We have plenty of blueprints and technical drawings scattered across the desks and pinned to the walls. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the production run before the next shift starts. The 9th Cross gets incredibly busy with trucks and workers during the afternoon shift changes. It is a tough place to work, but we take a lot of pride in the things we produce here.
