Micro International

Avenue Road is one of the busiest places you could ever be in, and Micro International is right in the middle of it. We are up on the 4th floor of the Jayanthi Building, at number 401. If you’ve ever walked down Avenue Road, you know how much is going on with the carts and the shops and the sheer number of people. Getting up to the 4th floor can be a bit of a workout if you don't want to wait for the old lift. Our office is a bit cramped because we have so much stuff packed into the shelves. It’s an old building, so it has that specific smell of paper and stone. From our windows, we can see the rooftops of all the other buildings around us. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know the way. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen shops come and go on the ground floor. The noise from the street is a constant hum that you just stop noticing after a while. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. There isn't much room for fancy decorations, so we just have our equipment and some old calendars on the walls. It’s a practical place for people who just want to get their work done. We don't have any polished marketing or anything; we just rely on being here every day at our desks.
