Mewara Exports

Mewara Exports is located at 24/1 on Ebrahim Saheb Street. It is a very narrow and busy street, so there is always a lot of noise from scooters and people walking by. Our place is mostly filled with cardboard boxes and packing tape. We spend the morning checking lists and making sure everything is packed tight for shipping. The air in the street is often thick with the smell of the nearby food stalls and exhaust. We have a small area where we do the paperwork, but it is usually covered in stamps and shipping labels. It can get very hot inside during the afternoon, and the small fan we have doesn't do much. We deal with a lot of different traders and truck drivers who come through the lane. Sometimes the shipments get delayed and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to track them down. The walls have some old marks from moving heavy crates around over the years. We don't have a big storefront for people to browse. It is more of a working warehouse space where we focus on getting the goods out the door. The floor is made of stone and it gets quite cold in the winter months. We just keep our heads down and handle the logistics day by day. When the sun goes down, the street gets a little quieter and we finally get a chance to sweep up the scraps of paper.
