We are located in the Sobha Aquamarine building, specifically at B-2/513 on the Outer Ring Road in Bellandur. If you know Bangalore, you know that the Outer Ring Road is basically one long traffic jam, so we spend a lot of our time talking about how long it took to get to work. The office itself is part of a larger complex, and we’ve been here for a while now. We deal with insurance, which means the place is usually full of documents, policy papers, and people trying to explain things over the phone. It’s a Metlife office, but it feels more like a local hub where the same group of people works every day. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just the usual office furniture and some calendars on the walls. The atmosphere is generally busy because there is always some claim to process or a question to answer. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some tea bags for when the afternoon slump hits. It’s not a place for big speeches or marketing slogans; it’s just where the work happens. People come in from all parts of the city, and we just try to keep the paperwork moving without making too many mistakes. Bellandur is a crowded area with plenty of food stalls around, so we usually go out for a quick bite together when the weather is nice. It is a real office with real people.
