Our office isn’t in one of those new high-rise towers; it’s a more established space that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. We’ve got the 2nd Main Road right outside, and you can hear the bikes and autos zooming past all day. It’s convenient for us because everything is nearby—the shops, the small eateries, and the bus stops. The Bda flats have a certain look to them that anyone from Bangalore recognizes immediately. We’ve set up our desks here and it works for us. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us doing our jobs in a space that feels lived-in. Sometimes the hallway is a bit dim, or the neighbor’s kid is playing outside, but that’s just life in a Bda layout. We’ve been at this 2nd Stage location long enough that the local shops know our names. It’s a good spot to be if you want to feel connected to the actual city instead of being stuck in a glass box.
