Our office is over on Sola Road in Krishnarajapuram, number 5. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic nearby can be a bit much during the rush hours. At Metis Consultant, we mostly deal with giving advice and helping people figure out their business problems. It’s not always high-level strategy; often it’s just the small details that get stuck. We sit down with clients and look at what they’re doing, then try to offer some practical steps. We’ve got a couple of small meeting rooms that get used quite a bit. It’s mostly just us and our laptops. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us at a desk with a stack of reports. We like being in this part of town because it feels real. The work involves a lot of research and sometimes just common sense. We’ve helped different kinds of businesses over the years. Some projects take weeks, others are done in a couple of days. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the facts and say what we think. It’s simple enough. Sometimes we get lunch from the local shops nearby and just talk shop. It’s a regular job for us and we enjoy the variety of things that come across our desks. We just try to be helpful and keep things moving forward.
