Metalica Pressings

Metalica Pressings is at Indian Globe Chambers on D N Road. We are in unit B/25. It is a bit of an older building but it works for us. Our work is basically what the name of the company says. We have these big presses that go all day long. The thumping sound they make is something you can actually feel in your chest while you work. It is a lot of flat metal sheets being turned into different shapes. Peenya is full of places like this, but we have got our own little corner here. The air inside is always a bit heavy with the smell of machine oil and metal. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and the machines. Sometimes the dies get stuck and we have to spend an hour or two getting things running smooth again. It is a very practical environment to work in. We have a small office area but most of the action happens out where the presses are. We have seen the road outside change quite a bit over the years. The traffic is definitely worse now than it used to be. We still manage to get the deliveries out on time though. It is not a place where you wear fancy clothes. We wear stuff that can get dirty and oily. We know the rhythm of the work and just keep going.
