Metal Fishners & Fab Tech is down here at 63/3 Sunkadakatte. It is a busy spot most days and you will hear the metal clanging long before you walk in the door. We spend most of our time on the shop floor. Usually there is dust on everything and someone is always looking for a tool that went missing five minutes ago. Sunkadakatte has changed a bit over the years but it is still where we do all our daily work. Most of us have been here a long time. We start early when the air is still cool. By noon it gets pretty hot under the tin roof and the fans don't do much. We just get on with the jobs we have. Some days are slower than others but mostly there is a stack of fabrication pieces waiting to be finished. The tea shop around the corner sees us a few times a day for a break. We don’t have fancy offices or anything polished. Just the work area and the old machines we use. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit on the crates and talk for a bit until it comes back. It is just how it is here. The address is 63/3 and we have been at this location for a while now. Metal Fishners & Fab Tech isn’t hard to find if you know the area. We try to keep things organized but in a metal shop that is easier said than done. We just do what needs doing every day.
