You’ll find us on Sadar Patrappa Road, near Nanded Phata on the Pune Sinhagad Road, at number 9. It’s an industrial sort of area, and we fit right in. Our floors are usually covered in a bit of metal dust or oil, which is just part of the job. We deal with metal supplies and hardware. It’s heavy work, moving blocks and rods around all day. The noise of metal hitting metal is something you get used to pretty quickly. We aren't the type of place that has a clean showroom. People come here because they need specific parts or materials for their own work. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting them down to size. Sometimes we get a big order that takes all day to load, and other times it’s just someone looking for a handful of bolts. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell metal. The guys here have been working with these materials for years, so we know what works for different projects. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, handle the stock, and talk to the contractors who stop by. The traffic on Sinhagad Road can be a nightmare, but once you get inside the shop, it’s all about the work. We keep the ledger updated and make sure the inventory is where it should be for the next day.
