Melting Flowers

Our shop is tucked away in the Wilson Garden area, specifically near the Vidhya Kunj Society. It’s a nice part of town, maybe a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs, which suits what we do. We work with flowers all day long. The smell inside the shop is usually quite strong, mostly of lilies and roses, depending on what came in from the market that morning. We spend a lot of time trimming stems, changing water in the buckets, and clearing away the fallen leaves and petals from the floor. It’s a messy job in a way, even though the end result looks clean and nice. We don't have a massive showroom. It’s more of a working space where we put together arrangements for people in the neighborhood. Some folks come in looking for something for a birthday, while others just want a few stems to put in a vase at home. We try to keep things fresh, but sometimes the heat gets to the blooms before we can sell them. That’s just the reality of working with things that grow. We’ve been here in Wilson Garden for a good while and have gotten to know the families around Vidhya Kunj Society pretty well. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s just us here, making sure the flowers are looked after and that the shop stays open for whoever needs a bit of color in their day.
