Our place is at number 240 in Bommanahalli, which is a part of town that never really seems to sleep. Dealing with minerals and industrial materials means things can get quite messy. The floor is usually covered in a fine layer of dust, no matter how much we try to keep it clean. We have heavy bags stacked up everywhere, and a lot of our day involves moving these around or getting them ready for transport. It’s a very physical job, and we definitely feel it in our backs by the time evening rolls around. The traffic on the nearby roads is often backed up, so we have to plan our loading and unloading carefully or else the trucks get stuck. It’s not a glamorous setup by any means. We just have our desks, the storage area, and the equipment we use for weighing and packing. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, either with the heat or the sudden rain that makes everything damp. We mostly just talk to people on the phone or deal with the drivers who come to pick up orders. There isn't much to say other than the fact that we show up every day and handle the minerals. We’ve been in this Bommanahalli spot for a while, and we’ve seen the buildings around us go up and change while we just keep doing our usual routine. It's dusty and hard work, but we are satisfied with what we do.
