You’ll find Mayur Tex at 28/41 in Banashankari 1st Stage. We are on 9th B Main, right along the 50 Feet Road. There is an ATM bank just across from us, which makes it simple to explain where we are to people who haven't visited before. We’ve been part of the BSK 1st Stage neighborhood for quite some time now. The shop isn't anything massive, but we pack a lot into the space we have. There are rolls of fabric and piles of stuff all over the place. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but I know where everything is kept. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks like it cost a fortune. Most of what we do is just straight talk with the people who come in. Sometimes we have to move some boxes out of the way so a customer can stand comfortably. The 50 Feet Road can get pretty loud with all the buses, but inside we just focus on the textiles. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We aren't trying to be the biggest in the city, just trying to provide what people need right here in Banashankari. If the door is locked during the day, I’m probably just out for a quick bite or picking up more supplies from the distributors. We work hard and keep things simple.
