Our spot is right on New Bel Road, which is a pretty lively place to be these days. Matrix Global Solutions is basically just a small office where we handle all our business. If you know New Bel Road, you know it’s packed with cafes and shops, so there’s always somewhere to go for a quick bite or a coffee. Our office is a bit more quiet than the street outside, luckily. It’s just a basic room with some shared tables and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don’t really have any decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a stray coat hanging on the back of a chair. Most of us live fairly close by, so the commute isn't too terrible compared to other parts of Bangalore. We spend our mornings checking through whatever came in overnight and the rest of the day is just steady work. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits; we’re usually just in jeans and shirts. When the weather is nice, we might leave the door open to get a breeze, though that usually lets in the noise from the bikes outside too. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood has really grown up around us. It’s a practical location for what we do, and we like being in the middle of everything without being in a giant office park. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
