Matrix Bearing Company

Matrix Bearing Company is situated at 1705 in the Kothari Complex. We are right on Dr. Rajkumar Road in the Prakash Nagar part of Rajajinagar. The complex is always humming with activity, and our unit is usually a bit of a mess with boxes and metal components everywhere. It’s hard to keep a place like this perfectly clean when you’re dealing with bearings and industrial parts all day. The shelves are heavy and made of iron, and they are completely full. We have a small area near the front where we talk to customers and write out receipts by hand. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving while we work. Most of our day is spent looking through catalogs or checking the sizes of parts with a gauge. It’s a lot of technical work but done in a very low-key environment. We don’t have a website that we update or any of that, we just rely on people knowing we are here in the complex. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the light coming in from the doorway, but we manage. It’s a practical life, and we like the routine of it. We know the other shop owners in Prakash Nagar, and there’s a good sense of community even if everyone is busy with their own stuff.
