Mathaji Departmental

Mathaji Departmental is located at 458/7, along the busy Tumkur Road. We are part of the Sree Muneshwara Industrial Estate in Peenya, so there are always workers and trucks moving around outside. The area is quite industrial and can get very loud during the day. Our shop isn't too large, but we try to fit in all the different items that people working in the estate might need. We spend a lot of time stocking the shelves and making sure nothing is past its date. It is a bit of a struggle to keep the dust off everything since the road is so close. We have been here for a good while, and we have seen the estate change over the years. Some days are just a blur of faces coming in for a quick snack or some household supplies. We do not have a lot of help, so it is usually just us behind the counter. The lighting inside is okay, though we could probably use a few more bulbs in the corners. It is a practical place for a practical neighborhood. We open early and stay open until the shift workers are heading home. There is always something to do, whether it is cleaning the floor or checking the new deliveries that arrive at our door on Tumkur Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day.
