Our tempos are usually parked near Union Street in Shivaji Nagar. It’s a crowded spot but it works for us because we are right in the middle of everything. We handle local moving, mostly shifting furniture or boxes for people in the neighborhood. We have a few drivers who have been with us for years. They know the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic. The office is really just a small desk where we take calls and note down the schedules. It gets loud outside with all the market noise. We start early in the morning when the roads are a bit clearer. Loading the vehicles takes time, and we try to be careful with the items. Sometimes it's just a few bags, other times it's a whole house worth of stuff. We don't have a big fleet, just a few reliable tempos that get the job done. The rain can be a problem sometimes, so we keep plenty of plastic covers ready in the back. Customers usually find us by asking around the Union Street area. We don't do fancy marketing, just honest work. If a job is too big, we tell them, but usually we can manage. It's a busy life, always on the move from one street to another. We've been in Shivaji Nagar for a long time now. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they help us out if we need a hand.
