Mary General Store

Mary General Store is a small place located at 155/A in Mrs Palya. We are situated right near the Ambedkar Government School on Nandi Durga Road. Being so close to a school means we see a lot of children coming in for pens, notebooks, or some small sweets after their classes are finished for the day. It is a very lively spot in Bangalore. The shop itself is quite modest and simple. We have the basic groceries like rice, dal, and cooking oil, along with daily items like bread and eggs. It is a neighborhood store through and through. Many of our customers live in the small houses around Mrs Palya and stop by on their way back home from work. We do not have a big team of staff, just a couple of family members who take turns sitting at the counter. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with empty cardboard boxes lying around, but we try to keep it as decent as possible. The street outside is always busy with people walking to the nearby bus stop. We have been here for many years, and not much has changed about the way we do things. We still use a simple notebook to keep track of things sometimes.
