Maria Fabrications

Our workshop is located in Hongasandra, right near the Siani Gurudwara at number 27. If you’re in the area, you can usually hear the sound of metal being cut or welded. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We spend our days working with different materials, trying to build things that last. There’s always dust and bits of metal on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. That’s just the nature of fabrication work. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us by now. It’s not a quiet job, but we like the feeling of finishing a project. Sometimes we’re working on gates, other times it’s frames or smaller custom pieces for local people. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. You just come to the back where the machines are. It gets pretty hot in the summer with the torches going, but we just keep at it. We’re just a small group of guys who know how to handle the tools. We don’t use any fancy technology, just the reliable old machines that have been with us for years. People come to us when they need something sturdy made for their homes or shops. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just take the measurements, get the materials, and start working until it's finished. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living here in Bangalore. The Gurudwara is a good landmark for people trying to find our gate.
