Manpansand Exports

We’ve been at this spot on Chickpet 4th Main for a pretty long time now. Number 63 is just a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. The street is always crowded with people moving carts and bikes squeezing past each other. It gets noisy. We mostly deal with exporting goods, which means lots of crates and tape and marking things down in ledgers. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather gets hot and the fans just move the warm air around. My cousin helps out with the shipping documents while I talk to the transport guys. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by stuff waiting to go out. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside during a break just to watch the chaos of the market. It’s how it’s always been here. We know the tea seller and the guy who fixes the shutters next door. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in the city, just keeping things moving at our own pace. There’s always a pile of samples in the corner and a stack of empty boxes near the door. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the street starts to quiet a little, though Chickpet never really stops. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
