Manly Silicon Steel Pvt. Ltd. sits right on the Anekal Bangalore Main Road. Specifically, we’re at 139/2 in Jigani. If you’ve ever driven down that road, you know it’s a lot of dust and heavy vehicles. Our place is right in the middle of all that action. We work with silicon steel, which is heavy and requires a lot of space. The warehouse part of our facility is much bigger than the office. We spend most of our time out there or on the phone trying to coordinate with drivers. It’s a busy taluk to be in. The traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings when everyone is trying to head back toward the city. Our office is pretty basic, just some chairs, a couple of computers, and a lot of logbooks. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. It’s a practical environment. We aren't worried about how things look as long as the steel is moving and the people buying it get what they need. The guys on the floor are hard workers, and we try to stay out of their way unless there’s a problem. It’s a noisy, productive place. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and the locals know us. It’s not a corporate park with glass buildings, just a functional site where we do our business day in and day out without much fuss.
