Manjupriya Condiments

Manjupriya Condiments is our shop over on Anjanpura Layout, S V Road 62. It’s full of jars and packets of all sorts of things. We have snacks, spices, and things people need for their kitchens. The shelves are pretty crowded because we try to fit as much as we can in the space we have. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. I spend a lot of time restocking the jars and making sure everything is labeled correctly. We get our supplies from a few different distributors who come by in their vans. Sometimes they don't have what we asked for, so we have to make do. The floor is tile and it’s easy to clean, which is good because things spill sometimes. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We know most of the people who live in Anjanpura Layout. They stop by for a chat while they’re buying their daily items. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just this one shop. We open up at nine and stay until eight. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but you get used to it. S V Road is always busy, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We just keep things stocked and the lights on.
