Manjunatha Meta-Cut Enterprises sits right on 100 Ft Ring Road in the 3rd Phase of Peenya. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and the dust. We’ve been at 139/140 for quite some time now. Most days start early here because the noise of the machines never really stops in this industrial area. Our floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of cutting oil. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the work happens. We handle a lot of different cutting jobs for the shops nearby and some bigger places too. The guys on the floor know the machines better than anything else. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, but we just figure it out. It’s a lot of standing and checking measurements over and over. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks in the corner and a lot of heavy equipment taking up the rest of the space. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the roof. We usually take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It’s just a normal shop doing what needs to be done to get the orders out. We’ve seen the Ring Road change a lot over the years, but our little spot here stays pretty much the same.
