Manjunath Wood Crafts

Manjunath Wood Crafts is located on the 2nd Main Road in Govindaraja Nagar. We are right in the Pattegarhpalya area of Vijayanagar. If you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the smell of wood and polish. It’s always there. We have sawdust on the floor and tools scattered across the workbenches. It’s not a showroom; it’s a workshop. We spend our days cutting, sanding, and putting things together. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. My hands are usually a bit rough from the work, and there’s always a layer of dust on my shoes. We make all sorts of wood items, mostly whatever people in the neighborhood ask us for. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy, just the work we do. Sometimes it’s a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes down the road. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years. It’s a simple way to make a living, just working with our hands. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning. That’s how it is here at our shop in Vijayanagar. We just focus on the craft and keep the wood moving.
