Manifest Investments is located on the first floor of Shrishta Bhoomi, which is right on M G Road in Basavanagudi. Being at 104 is convenient because the metro is close and we get a lot of people walking by. It is a typical office in an older building with high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light. We have a lot of files and folders because paperwork is a big part of what we do every day. It is not very exciting to look at, just desks and computers and people talking on their mobiles. We have been here for a good amount of time and we know the other shop owners in the building well. We usually get a tiffin delivered for lunch and sit around the main table to eat together. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed for a finance place. We do not wear suits unless we absolutely have to for a meeting. Mostly it is just casual clothes and focusing on the numbers. Basavanagudi has a nice feel to it, much different from the more modern parts of the city. We like the old trees and the small shops nearby. Sometimes the traffic on M G Road makes it hard to hear, but we have gotten used to the constant honking. It is just part of being in this location. We stay until the work is done, which usually means late afternoon or evening before we head home.
