Mangala Paying Guest

We run this paying guest place in JP Nagar near Memco. It’s a big house at number 27 and we’ve been taking in guests for quite some years now. Most of the people staying with us are young guys who moved here for work or studies. We try to keep the rooms decent and the food is just basic home cooking like what we eat ourselves. It’s not a hotel so don’t expect a lobby or room service. We have a schedule for breakfast and dinner and everyone usually gathers in the common area then. There is a lot of chatter about their jobs or families back home. The area around JP Nagar is pretty good because everything is close by. We spend a lot of our time making sure the water tanks are full and the cleaning is done properly. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble and we have to call the guy to fix it quickly. It’s a lot of responsibility looking after so many people under one roof. We live here too so we are always around if someone loses their key or needs something late at night. The neighborhood is mostly quiet which helps people sleep well after a long day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or just seeing the sign outside. It’s a simple living arrangement for people who need a place to stay.
