Mallika Stores

Mallika Stores is located at number 384 in Vijaya Nagar. We are right opposite the Tiffin Ready Hotel. It’s a good spot because people come for food and then see us and remember they need something. We sell all sorts of small things for the house. It’s a typical neighborhood shop. I’ve been running this place for a long time. The shelves are wooden and a bit old now. We don't have those fancy plastic bins. Everything is just stacked where there is space. It can look a bit cluttered if you're not used to it. But I know exactly where every item is. If you ask for a specific soap or a brand of pulses, I can find it in a second. Vijaya Nagar is a nice place to be. The street gets busy in the evenings when people are out for walks. We keep the lights on late. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello. It’s not just about selling things. It’s about being part of the street. The hotel across the road always smells like sambar and coffee. It makes me hungry around lunchtime. We don't have a big sign, just the name Mallika Stores painted on the board. It’s a simple life. We deal with the wholesalers and keep the stock moving. It’s honest work. We are here every day except for some holidays when we need a rest from the shop.
