Mahesh Flour Mills

Mahesh Flour Mills sits at 6/9, Begur Main Road in the Bommanahalli area. Being on the main road means there is always noise from the traffic outside, which mixes with the hum of our grinders. It is a busy spot. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. Most of our days are spent weighing bags and making sure the mill is running smooth. It gets quite warm inside, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the doors open to let some air in. People from the nearby apartments and houses come in all the time. It is a very hands-on job. We are usually covered in a thin layer of flour by lunch. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. If someone needs their grain ground, they just show up and we do it. The space is a bit cramped because we have to fit the machinery and the storage areas all in one. It works for us, though. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Sometimes the machines need a bit of a kick to get started in the morning. We just take things as they come and try to get the work done by the time we close up in the evening. It is just a local business doing its best on a busy road. We stay focused on the task at hand.
