Mahaveer Transport Service

We run Mahaveer Transport Service out of the D Devara Urs Truck Terminal in Yeshwantpur. Our office is D-53 on the 2nd floor. It’s a noisy, busy place with trucks coming and going all the time, being right near Kanteerva Studio. We’ve been here for a while now. The work is mostly about coordinating loads and making sure things get where they need to go. It’s not a desk job where you sit still. There is always someone calling about a delivery or a driver checking in. The stairs up to the 2nd floor are a bit steep, but it gives us a good view of the terminal. We handle different types of goods. Sometimes it's a lot of small items, other times it's big heavy stuff. It really depends on the day. Being in Yeshwantpur is handy because of all the transport links. We don't have a lot of frills in the office. Just some desks, chairs, and stacks of logbooks. We focus on the trucks and the timing. If a shipment is delayed, we have to figure it out. It's a bit chaotic at times, but that's just the nature of transport. We've got our routine down. Most people who use us are other businesses in the terminal or nearby. We just keep the wheels moving as best as we can every day. It's a lot of coordinating but we manage it well enough for the people who rely on us.
