Mahaveer Metal

Mahaveer Metal is situated in Ragipet, inside the Ujjwal Nandadeep Society at Evershine Nagar on Link Road 14. This place is full of metal rods, sheets, and scraps. It’s a heavy environment, literally. You’ll hear the sound of metal clanging against metal all day long. My hands are almost always a bit greasy from handling the stock, and my clothes usually have a few holes in them from the sharp edges. We aren't trying to be a high-tech facility. It’s just a warehouse and a small front area where we talk to customers. Link Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street. We’ve got a couple of old chairs for people to sit on while we find what they need in the back. It’s not a polished business with brochures or anything. We just know our inventory and where everything is buried. Most of our customers are local builders or guys doing repairs who need a specific piece of metal. We’ve been in this society for a good while and the neighbors know us. Sometimes we stay late to finish an order if someone is in a hurry. It’s hard work and it’s loud, but we like the routine of it. We just provide what people ask for and try to keep the prices fair. There is no magic to it, just keeping the stock moving.
