Our place is on Ankur Road in Srirampuram, at number 4. We’ve been here for years, acting as a small local bank for the people in the neighborhood. It’s a very traditional setup with a heavy desk and some old wooden cupboards for the files. We don't have any of those fancy digital kiosks or apps. People come here to talk face-to-face. Mostly, we handle gold loans and small personal credit for the shopkeepers around here. It's a quiet office for the most part, except when a few people are waiting and chatting about the news. We know most of our customers by their names and know their families too. It's a lot about trust in this business. We keep our ledgers updated by hand sometimes, though we have a basic computer for the main stuff. The building is quite old and stays relatively cool even in the summer. We don't have a big sign outside, just enough for people to know where the entrance is. Sometimes people come in just to ask for advice on their savings. We aren't trying to grow into some huge corporation. We just like being the local spot where people can get some help with their money when things are tight. It’s a steady, slow pace of work that suits us just fine. There’s no rush here, and we take our time to explain the paperwork to everyone.
