Maharaja Furniture

We've been at 1206 Indira Nagar 100 Feet Road for quite a while now. Most people around HAL 2nd Stage know the spot. It’s just Maharaja Furniture, nothing too fancy, just a place where we keep a lot of wood and some finished pieces. It gets a bit dusty with all the sanding going on, but that’s how it is when you’re making things by hand. My cousin helps out with the deliveries, and sometimes we get busy and the shop looks a bit messy. People come in looking for a table or a cupboard that won't fall apart in two years. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights, just the space here on the main road. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We just focus on getting the joints right and making sure the polish looks okay. It’s a family thing, really. My uncle started it, and now I’m here most days from morning until late evening. If you walk past the big tree on the corner, you’ll see our sign. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working with wood every day. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing ads. Most folks just drop by because they saw something through the window. We like it that way. It's just simple work for local people who need something solid for their homes.
