Our small office for Mahanthesh And Associates is tucked away on the 2nd Cross in Gandhi Nagar. We have been here at number 56 for quite some time. It is a simple place with a few desks and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Most days, we are just sitting here going through paperwork or talking to people who drop by with questions. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of employees; it is just a small group of us trying to get through the daily workload. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, so there is always a bit of noise from the street coming through the windows. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it is surprisingly quiet, which gives us time to catch up on filing. We try to keep things organized, though the piles of paper sometimes suggest otherwise. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby and saw our sign. We like being part of this neighborhood. It’s a practical setup and it works for what we do. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture because that’s not really who we are. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. If the door is open, someone is usually inside working.
