You can find us over at No.1462/3 on Bus Stand Road. We are right near the MIG 16th B Cross, very close to the Anjaneya Temple Street Cross. It is a busy area because of the bus stand nearby. There is always the sound of buses pulling in and out and people walking past the shop. We handle a lot of steel here. It is heavy and it can be cold to the touch in the mornings. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and cutting them to the right length. The floor of the shop is covered in little metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening. It is a repetitive job but it keeps us busy. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Sometimes the smell of incense from the temple reaches us when the wind is right. We have a small counter where we sit and talk to the people who come in. Most of our customers are locals who are doing some small construction or repairs. We don't have any air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit. It’s a bit of a messy place because of the nature of steel, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It gets dark early here in the winter months.
