Mahalakshmi Steel Corporation

Mahalakshmi Steel Corporation is found in the T.N.R. Building on Varthur Main Road. We’re located near Tulsi Theater in Marathahalli, which is a landmark that almost everyone knows around this part of town. Working with steel is heavy and exhausting business. Our floors are usually covered in small scraps or dust from the metal, and the noise from the road outside never really stops during the day. Marathahalli is always moving, and we try to move right along with it. We handle a lot of different steel items, and moving them around the warehouse takes a lot of physical effort. It’s not the kind of job where you can stay clean for long. By the end of the day, our hands are usually dark with grease or iron filings. We’ve stayed in this building because it’s a good spot for deliveries, even if the traffic on Varthur Main Road gets a bit crazy during the evenings. The office is just a small corner where we keep the ledgers and a phone that seems to ring more than we’d like it to. We don’t have any marketing team or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. It’s just us doing the work, loading the trucks, and making sure the counts are correct. It’s a tough environment to work in but it’s what we know best. Being near the theater helps people find us easily when they come to pick things up. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
