Mahadev Paying Guest

We run the Mahadev Paying Guest over at Naveen Nilaya, which is house number 5 in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. If you know where the Shalimar Garden Apartments are, we are just near there. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet compared to the main roads. We have been hosting people for a good while now. The house is always full of different people coming and going. Most of them are students or guys working nearby who just need a place to sleep and eat. We provide meals and try to keep the place tidy, though with so many people living under one roof, it can get a bit messy sometimes. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen or checking on the rooms to make sure everything is working. It’s not like those big branded hostels you see nowadays. This is just a regular house we converted to help people out with a place to stay. Sometimes we sit out in the small garden area when it's not too hot. We deal with the usual house stuff like fixing leaks or making sure the internet is working for the boys. It’s a lot of work to manage everyone’s schedules and different tastes in food, but we manage. My family helps out with the cooking and cleaning. It’s just our daily life here in the neighborhood, keeping the lights on and the doors open for anyone who needs a bed.
