Our place, Mahadev Metals, is right on Magadi Road in Mitha Nagar. Number 28 is the spot. If you know the area, it's pretty industrial and loud with all the trucks going by. Lots of different metal pieces, sheets, and rods are kept here. It’s dusty work and our hands are usually dirty by noon. Long years have been spent at this spot. People come to us when they need specific sizes or just some scrap for a project. Catalogs and sales teams aren't here. It's just the yard and the shop floor. Walk in, tell us what you're looking for, and we see if we have it in the stacks. Magadi Road is always busy, so there’s always something happening outside. Keeping the inventory organized is hard because metal is heavy and things get moved around a lot. Massive factories are elsewhere. This is just a local metal shop serving the Mitha Nagar area. Some of our customers have been coming here since we first opened. Not much talking happens, we just focus on the scales and the cutting. The older building at 28 serves us well enough. Opening early and closing when the sun starts going down is our routine. It’s a straightforward business. Selling metal and keeping things fair is the main goal. Nothing more to it than that, really. We're just a part of the neighborhood. The road has changed a lot but we're still here doing the same thing.
