You can find Mahadev Electrical over in T Dasarahalli. We are in the Byraweshwara Building, which is very close to the Vijaya Nursing Home. A lot of people use the nursing home as a landmark to get to us. The shop is full of all sorts of things like wires, switches, and bulbs piled up on the shelves. It might look a bit disorganized to a stranger, but I know exactly where every single item is kept. I started this place because I noticed people in the neighborhood always needed help with small electrical things for their homes. I spend most of my time behind the counter or out on a small ladder fixing a light in the shop. It’s a simple life. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights to attract people. Most of the time, the door is open to let a breeze in, and neighbors just pop their heads in to say hello. We get a lot of foot traffic from people visiting the nursing home who realized they needed a battery or a new plug on their way home. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling parts, but that’s just how it is. We don't do any big marketing. If you need something fixed or a specific part, you just come by and ask. We try to be helpful and keep things moving along for everyone who walks through the door. It is just a small local shop.
