Our place, Magnetic Controls, is tucked away in Malleswaram on 8th Cross. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly old houses and small shops, which makes our setup here feel a bit like the old days. We operate out of number 56 on 4th Main. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people walking by and traffic getting stuck in the narrow lanes. We handle a lot of electrical and control components inside these walls. It isn't a massive, shiny facility. It’s more of a functional space where things are stacked on shelves and there’s always a soldering iron warming up somewhere. We spend our time looking at circuits and making sure switches work like they’re supposed to. Sometimes the coffee guy comes around, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people in the trade just know we are here because we’ve been around the block a few times. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a regular spot in a regular part of Malleswaram. Inside, it’s mostly tools, wires, and us trying to figure out a fix for whatever came in that morning. It’s quiet enough for us to focus, though you can always hear the bells from the temple nearby. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving. The space is a bit cramped but it works for what we do every day.
