Maddona Co

Maddona Co is tucked away in Kasturi Nagar, specifically at Nagdevi 102. If you know the area, you know it is usually packed with people moving heavy boxes and trucks trying to navigate the narrow turns all morning long. Our space is pretty crammed too. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, mostly filled with stock that we have been moving for years and years. It is a bit of a mess if you are not used to it, but we know exactly where everything is located. Most days it is just us handling calls and writing out receipts by hand on those carbon copies. We aren't big on computers for everything, though we have one sitting in the corner gathering some dust. The tea shop next door is where most of our breaks happen during the day. It is just a regular trading business, nothing fancy or high-tech about what we do. We see a lot of different faces every day, from delivery boys to long-time buyers who have been coming to Nagdevi since before I was even born. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street outside a bit of a nightmare with the mud, but we stay open and keep things moving regardless. The fan in the office makes a weird clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore over the years. It is just how it is working in a place like this. We don’t have a big marketing team, just people who show up and work.
