I have been working out of this spot in Nand Market for quite a while now. It’s right there at 18/2 A Vasanth Nagar, just off Cunningham Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here during the afternoons. My office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a desk, some chairs that have seen better days, and stacks of papers that I really should organize one of these weekends. The market noise comes right through the windows, mostly people shouting about prices or scooters honking, but I’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes I go down to the little stall nearby to get tea when the afternoon slump hits. It’s a small space, tucked away, and the stairs are a bit steep if you aren't careful. I usually get here around nine in the morning and stay until the sun starts to go down. People stop by mostly because they saw the sign or someone told them I was here. There’s a lot of traffic on Cunningham Road, so I usually try to walk or take a rickshaw if I can help it. My neighbors in the other shops are nice enough, we mostly just nod and carry on with our day. It’s just me doing my thing here, keeping track of things and making sure the numbers don't go wandering off. It’s a simple life.
