Our spot is Flat C-1, number 604, in the Whispering Meadows complex. It is located in Dollars Colony, which is part of the RMV 2nd Stage in Bengalooru. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, isn’t it? Being in a residential complex like this makes for a different kind of work environment. It is not like being in a cold, grey office block. We have neighbors who are just living their lives, and you can see people walking their dogs or kids playing outside while we are working on our tasks. It is a bit more relaxed than the city center. The office itself is basically just a converted flat. We use the rooms for different things, but it still feels like a home in many ways. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just a delivery for one of the neighbors, or someone looking for a different block. We deal with various colors and designs, so there are usually samples lying around on every available surface. It gets a bit cluttered. We are not very big on corporate rules or wearing suits. Most of us just show up in whatever is comfortable. It is an honest living, and we enjoy the quiet of the colony compared to the madness of the main roads. We just keep at it, day in and day out, in our little corner of the building. It is a decent place to be.
